Volunteers

There are 2 Regular Volunteer Opportunities:

One-on-One Special Friend

- Is between the ages of 16 and 24

- Will be committed in the program for a minimum of 9 months

- Will attend as many monthly Rec Events as possible with buddy

- Will see buddy for a minimum of 3 hours/week (time is to be arranged between you and buddy)

- Will attend a training session and interview process, as well as providing a police check and references

Rec Event Group Volunteer

- Must be at least 15 years old

- Will be committed for one year

- Will attend a minimum of 6 Rec Events in that year

- Will work with other volunteers to provide a fun event for the buddies

- May be matched with a child for the day who doesn't have a buddy with him/her

- Must attend an interview and provide a police check and references
